Before we begin this journey together I think there are some things you might need to know about me. For starters...thats me up there...the one in the stickers. Have you ever had one of those evenings where all you can think about is five minutes of total quiet...just you and the couch...well I have those thoughts... a lot. So, from time to time, in the interest of my sanity...I lay down, close my eyes, and allow the children to explore their inner artists...or something like that. The kids are happy, I am happy, and it is much easier to peel stickers off of my face than it is to peel them off the walls, floor, tables, tv, fridge, or tub.
EVERYTHING YOU NEVER KNEW YOU NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
- I love yoga pants...black yoga pants...they are a staple of my uniform
- I am addiced to taking pictures...especially of my kids...and flowers
- I have 3 kids and I am still waiting to become a morning person...hasn't happened yet
- I LOVE coffee...the darker the better
- I have a Masters Degree that I have never used...it looks lovely in my drawer though
- I will be paying for said Masters Degree until I die
- I have been writing childrens poems/books for years and have never gotten the nerve to submit
- I LOVE MOD PODGE...I love the smell, the feel, the texture...mmmmm....Podge...
- I still dont know what I want to be when I grow up...
- It is my greatest wish to have an organized house...oh...and a much bigger house...big houses always look more organized...dont they???
- I adore my crockpot
- If I dont get to play with a Cricut soon I may explode
- I am envious of all of the Mama's out there in blog-land who seem to do it all: the cooking, crafting, homeschooling, DIY-ing, sewing, entertaining, dressed to the nines, hair did, nails did, looking like they stepped out of a catalog...HOW DO YOU DO IT??!?!?!? No, seriously...HOW?? Do you give lessons???
So anyway, thats me in a nutshell. I am looking forward to documenting my kids lives, my culinary attempts, my crafty ventures, and possibly learning some tips on how to become as MOMTASTIC as many of the lovely ladies whose blogs I drool over peruse. :)
